Cleaning of Conveyor Belt

Purpose: To lay down operating procedure for the cleaning of conveyor belt.

Scope: This procedure is applicable for

Responsibility: Production Chemist

                           To supervise the activity

Pre-operating Check: Check no material or residue should be there.

Frequency:     For different product each time after use or at the end of the shift for the Same product.

Equipment used:  Conveyor belt

Cleaning procedure:

1. Switch off the conveyor belt.

2. Remove all the packing materials or residue of previous product.

3. Start conveyor belt to remove the any residue of previous product.

4. Clean the conveyor belt with wet cloth.

5. Clean surrounding area of conveyor belt with dry and clean cloth.
