Cleaning of Carton Coading Machine

Purpose -       To lay down operating procedure for the cleaning of carton coding machine

Scope :-       This procedure is applicable for

Responsibility:    Production Chemist

                               To supervise the activity

Pre-operating Check: -Check no packing material or residue of previous product should be there.

Frequency: -     For different product each time after use or at the end of the shift for the same 

product.

Equipment used:   carton-coding machine

 Cleaning procedure: -

1.  Remove the stereo from the stereo drum.

2.  Stereo return to the packing supervisor for destruction.

3.  Clean the platform with wet cloth.

4.  If the ink spoilage is more than wet that cloth with thinner and mop the surface.

5.  Ensure the following:

Absence of cartons of the previous batch number. Absence of stereos of the previous batch number.

6.  Clean the surround area of the carton-coding machine.
