Cleaning of Tablet Dedustor

Purpose:  To lay down operating procedure for the cleaning of tablet deduster

Scope:   This procedure is applicable for

Responsibility:    Production Chemist

                           To supervise the activity

Pre-operating Check: Check no material or residue should be there.

Frequency:  Complete wet cleaning for different product each time after use and Dry cleaning at 

the end of the shift and for the same product.

Equipment used:   Tablet deduster

Wet cleaning procedure:

1.  Remove all the powder dust accumulated in side deduster and also residue of previous product 

adhered on it and on the surface.

2.  Untie the perforated discs and clean with portable water and then finally clean with DM water. Then clean with dry clean and cloth

3.  Clean plastic pipe with portable water then with DM water and clean with dry clean cloth..

4.  Mop the body with clean and wet cloth. Also mop the surrounding area of the deduster and allow it to dry.

Dry cleaning procedure:

1.   Remove if any dust powder from deduster. Clean the surrounding area of deduster.
