Cleaning of Inspection Belt

Purpose:To lay down operating procedure for the Cleaning of Inspection belt.

Scope: This procedure is applicable to

Responsibility: Production Chemist

                        To supervise the activity

Pre-operating Check: Check no material or residue of previous product is there.

Frequency: At the complete batch or at the end of shift. 

Equipment used:  Inspection belt 

Procedure for product change over:

1.   Switch off the inspection belt.

2.   Remove all the tablets or residue of previous product.

3.   Start inspection belt to remove the tablets or residue of previous product.

4.   Clean the inspection belt with IPA wetted cloth followed by dry clean cloth.

5.   Mop the hopper and body with IPA wetted cloth followed by dry clean cloth. Also mop the surrounding area of inspection belt with wet cloth.

Procedure for the same product or at the end of shift:

1.    Remove the tablets or any residue of previous product from inspection Belt. Clean the 

surrounding area of inspection belt.

2.   Clean the inspection belt with dry clean cloth in running position.
