Pre-operating Check: Check no material or residue of previous product is there.
Frequency: At the completion of batch or at the end of the shift Equipment used: FBD (60 kg Groovers)
Wet cleaning procedure:
1. Ensure that switch is OFF.
2. Start the air compressor.
3. Unclip the strap retaining the retarting chamber.
4. Removed FBD bowl with retarting chamber.
5. Detach the finger sleeves of the bag from the holding hooks.
6. Removed the bag and take it to the washing area where the external surface of the bag is
washed with hot water. Where material is adhering to the bags it will be necessary to scrub the
surface with a hot water using a nylon brush & finally wash with DM Water.
7. Wash the bag support frame as well as the sleeve supports with potable water and then with DM
water and wipe the surface with a clean dry cloth.
8. Clean the outer and inner area of FBD with potable water and then with DM water and finally
clean it with clean dry cloth.
9. After washing, the bag is place it on a hanger or proper area and allow to dry in air and
mention FBD bag cleaning record in FBD bag cleaning log sheet.
10. Bowl first flush with potable water. Scrubbed the bowl gently, if necessary with a nylon
brush to dislodge all adhering solid material. .
11. Take the care of the sieve while cleaning so that it is not damaged. Rinse the bowl finally
with DM water.
12. Clean the surrounding area of FBD.
13. Mention the entire activities in Daily Log Sheet.
