SOP For entering and leaving the production area is described in this post which you can follow in the section of the Quality Assurance Department.
OBJECTIVE
This SOP has been established to describe the procedure of entering / leaving the production area through change rooms.
SCOPE
This SOP applies to all the personnel using change room during entering / leaving the production area.

All personnel entering / leaving the production area through change rooms. PROCEDURE
Procedure for entering the production area
Before entering the change room ensure that air curtain is working properly.
Ensure that your shoes are clean and free from mud or dust.
After entering the change room take off your shoes and go to raised step of floor bare footed.
Place your shoes in the allotted shoes box.
While sitting on the step over bench move your feet from one side to other side. Ensure that your feet do not touch the step over bench.
Wear allotted uniform and shoes. Cover the hair with cap properly.
If anything is scattered in the change room put it in dustbin.
Wash your hands before entering the production area. Wet the hands with water, apply a small quantity of liquid soap and rub the hands to make leather. Wash the hands with water so that traces of leather are completely removed from your hands. Dry the hands under the hot air dryer.
It must be ensured that you are wearing factory uniform and shoes before entering into the production area.
WITHOUT FACTORY SHOES AND UNIFORM, ENTERING INTO PRODUCTION AREA IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Do not keep unnecessary things in your locker.
Do not place anything on the top of locker.
Paste your name or no. on the locker.
Any damage to the locker must be reported to your Incharge immediately.
Do not eat or drink in the change room.
It is strictly prohibited to take eatables or drinkables in the production area.
In the event of an emergency or emergency alarm, do not stop to remove your factory uniforms and shoes. Follow posted exit routes and directly exit the facility. After emergency is over, obtain new uniforms and shoes before entering the production area once more.
Procedure for leaving the production area.
Take off factory uniform, place it in your respective locker properly and lock it.
Take off factory shoes and place in allotted shoes box.
If your locker is out of order or broken inform the authorized person.
While sitting on the step over bench move your feet from one side to other side. Ensure that your feet do not touch the step over bench.
Take your street shoes from shoes box and place them on the lower floor step.
Wear your shoes and leave the change room.
If you observe that air curtain is not working properly, inform the authorized person immediately.
