Purpose: To lay down procedure operating procedure for the Operation and Cleaning of stirrer.

Scope: This procedure is applicable for ................

Responsibility: Chemist

                          To supervise the activity

Pre- cleaning: Check that no material or residue should be there.

Frequency: For different product each time after use or at the end of the shift for the same product.

Procedure for cleaning:

1.          Unscrew the propeller and rinse the rode and propeller with raw water and finally with 

d.m. Water.

2.          Clean the propeller and rod with brush to remove any residue of the previous product 

and then wash with raw water and finally with DM. water.

3.          After cleaning the stirrer collect the rinse water and send to QC lab. For swab 

testing.

4.          If the swab is not pass then reclean the stirrer till the sample of swab is

pass. If the swab pass by QA then attached the status label “CLEANED READY FOR USE”.

Procedure for operation:

1.0         Ensure that the status label on stirrer CLEANED READY FOR USE is attached.

2.0         Ensure that the line clearance given by QA.

3.0         Set all the parameter as per batch manufacturing record.

4.0         Prepare coating suspension or binding solution as per batch manufacturing record.

5.0         Clean the stirrer as per their standard operating procedure.
