Cleaning of SS Equipment

Responsibility: Production Chemist

                           To supervise the activity

Pre-operating Check: Check no material or residue should be there.

Frequency: For different product each time after use or at the end of the shift for the same product.

Equipment used: Scoups, SS tank, etc

Cleaning procedure:

1.   Clean the equipment with portable water till residues of all material are removed.

2.   Then thoroughly wash the equipment with DM. Water.

3.   Mop the equipment with dry and clean cloth.

4.   Also clean the place where the equipment is to be kept and it’s surrounding.

5.   Keep the equipment in clean and dry plastic bag or cover properly ensuring that it is thoroughly cleaned.

6.   Before operating or using always checks that it is thoroughly cleaned than take for use in production.
