1.0 OBJECTIVE:

To lay down a procedure for cleaning and operation of PACKi 2 Camera inspection system for leaflet and spoon detection.

2.0 SCOPE:

This procedure is applicable for cleaning and operation of PACKi 2 Camera inspection system for leaflet and spoon detection in production department.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:

Technical Assistant : Responsible for cleaning & operation of PACKi 2 Camera inspection System.

Officer and Executive : Accountable for compliance of SOP.

4.0 DEFINITION (S):

5.0 PROCEDURE:

5.1 CLEANING

5.1.1 Ensure that all the materials of previous batch are removed from the packing line.

5.1.2 Remove “UNDER PROCESS’’ label and affix “TO BE CLEANED’’ label on the machine with date and sign of the production officer.

5.1.3 Switch ‘‘OFF’’ the utility supply before cleaning.

5.1.4 Clean the control panel with clean and dry lint free cloth.

5.1.5 Clean the top and outer surface of machine and its parts with the dry lint free cloth.

5.1.6 Replace the “TO BE CLEANED’’ status label by “CLEANED” status label on the machine with date and sign of the production officer.

5.1.7 Record the cleaning activity in equipment usage log as per SOP.

5.1.8 Clean the area as per SOP.

5.2 CAMERA 1 SETTING:

5.2.1 Switch on the ‘‘MAINS’’ button and wait for 5 second. Switch ‘‘ON’’ console unit by pressing ‘‘Red’’ button on the right side wall of the console unit.

5.2.2 Screen will be displayed ‘‘PACKi 2 CAMERA INSPECTION SYSTEM’’ and asking for login names & password.

5.2.3 Select the user name & password followed by ‘‘OK’’ system will display “DO YOU WANT TO SET THE CAMERA 1? Press ‘‘NO’’.

5.2.4 Now window will displayed “DO YOU WANT TO SET THE CAMERA 2 ? Press ‘‘NO’’.

5.2.5 Then system will go in learn mode.

5.2.6 Now give the area for reference to object image and press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.2.7 Then pass the carton with one spoon and one leaflet image will be displayed on screen and followed by touching ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.2.8 To perform the required function (Detection of spoon and leaflet) of camera select the present 1 from the above options.

5.2.9 The screen will display “Please give area for reference’’ and give area for reference.

5.2.10 Set the image by increasing or decreasing the two parameters, ‘‘CLEAR TEXT’’ and ‘‘SMALL OBJECT’’.

5.2.11 Black image of the object replaced with the red image by selecting the ‘‘AUTO’’ switch near the ‘‘CLEAR TEXT ‘’parameters.

5.2.12 Then touch the ‘‘OK ’’ button given in front of present 1.

5.2.13 New window will open with the massage that ‘‘PRESENT 1 CREATE SUCCESSFULLY’’ and follow the ”OK” button.

5.2.14 Now select the OCR from the bottom side of the window, it will open with ‘’SELECT OCR/OCV ’’ with following options:

-OCR

-COLOR

-PRESENT 2

-LINES 1

-OK

5.2.15 Select the ‘‘COLOR’’ from the above options and then press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.2.16 Now teach the color of the object by selecting the area for reference for the object and vived image achieved by increasing or decreasing the two parameter, ‘‘CLEAR TEXT’’ and REMOVE SMALL OBJECTS and press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.2.17 Now select the ‘‘SETTING’’ given at bottom right side of the screen and followed by selecting ‘‘OK’’.

5.2.18 New window with ‘‘JOB SETTING’’ will be displayed. Select the ‘‘EJECT CONTROL SYSTEM’’ in the ‘‘JOB SETTING’’ and press ‘‘OK’’.

5.2.19 New window will open with ‘‘PLEASE SET IMAGE AND PRESS OK BUTTON’’. Press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.2.20 Now give the area for reference to object image and press ‘‘OK’’ button. 

5.2.21 New window will open with following options .

-pharmacode

-2D Code

-Barcode

- Present 1

- OCR

5.2.22 Then select the present 1 from the above options.

5.2.23 The screen will display “Please give area for reference’’ and give area for reference.

5.2.24 S e t the image by increasing or decreasing the two parameters, ‘‘CLEAR TEXT’’ and small objects.

5.2.25 Black image of the object replaced with the red image by selecting the ‘‘AUTO’’ switch near the ‘‘CLEAR TEXT‘’ option.

5.2.26 Then touch the ‘‘OK ’’ button given in front of present 1.

5.2.27 New window will open with the massage that present 1 create successfully and follow the ”OK” button.

5.2.28 Now select the OCR from the bottom side of the window, it will open with ‘’SELECT OCR/OCV ’’ with following options:

-OCR

-COLOR

-PRESENT 2

-LINES 1

-OK

5.2.29 Select the ‘‘COLOR’’ from the above options and then press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.2.30 Now teach the color of the object by selecting the area for reference for the object and image

clearity achieved by increasing or decreasing the two parameters ‘‘CLEAR TEXT’’ and ‘‘REMOVE SMALL OBJECTS’’ and press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.2.31 Now select the ‘‘SETTING’’ given at bottom right side of the screen and followed by selecting ‘‘OK’’.

5.2.32 New window with ‘‘JOB SETTING’’ will be displayed. Select the ‘‘EJECT CONTROL SYSTEM’’ in the ‘‘JOB SETTING’’ and press ‘‘OK’’.

5.2.33 Select the ‘‘START’’ option given at lower bottom side of screen and a message will be displayed as ‘‘JOB NAME’’ AND THEN SELECT ‘‘OK’’ and give the ‘‘JOB NAME’’ and further select ‘‘OK’’.

5.3 CAMERA 2 SETTING

5.3.1 Select the ‘‘CAM 2’’ and new window will open with a message ‘‘PLEASE SET IMAGE’’ and followed by ‘‘OK’’.

5.3.2 Now a new message will come that ‘‘PLEASE GIVE AREA FOR REFERANCE’’.

5.3.3 Select the area for reference and press ‘‘OK’’.

5.3.4 New window will open with following options.

-pharmacode

-2D Code

-Barcode

- Present 1

- OCR

5.3.5 Then select the present 1 from the above options.

5.3.6 The screen will displayed “PLEASE GIVE AREA FOR REFERENCE’’ and give area for reference.

5.3.7 Set the image by increasing or decreasing the two parameters, ‘‘CLEAR TEXT’’ and small objects.

5.3.8 Black image of the object replaced with the red image by selecting the ‘‘AUTO’’ switch near the ‘‘CLEAR TEXT‘’ option.

5.3.9 Then touch the ‘‘OK ’’ button given in front of present 1.

5.3.10 New window will open with the massage that present 1 create successfully and follow the ‘‘OK” button.

5.3.11 Now select the OCR from the bottom side of the window, it will open with ‘’SELECT OCR/OCV ’’ with following options:

-OCR

-COLOR

-PRESENT 2

-LINES 1

-OK

5.3.12 Select the ‘‘COLOR’’ (For detection of spoon and leaflet) from the above options and then press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.3.13 Now teach the color of the object by selecting the area for reference for the object and clear image achieved by increasing or decreasing the two parameters, ‘‘CLEAR TEXT’’ and REMOVE SMALL OBJECTS and press ‘‘OK’’ button.

5.3.14 Now select the ‘‘SETTING’’ given at bottom right side of the screen and followed by selecting ‘‘OK’’.

5.3.15 New window with ‘‘JOB SETTING’’ will be displayed.

5.3.16 Select the ‘‘EJECT CONTROL SYSTEM’’ in the ‘‘JOB SETTING’’ and press ‘‘OK’’.

5.3.17 Select the ‘‘START’’ option given at lower bottom side of screen and a message will be displayed as ‘‘JOB NAME’’ AND THEN SELECT ‘‘OK’’ and give the ‘‘JOB NAME’’ and further select ‘‘OK’’.

5. 4 SETTING OF EJECTOR SYSTEM

5.4.1 Select the ‘‘ECS’’ given at lower bottom side of the screen and a window will be open as ‘‘EJECTOR SYSTEM FOR CAMERA 1’’ and following parameters for setting are as following

-EJECTOR SYSTEM FOR CAMERA 1

-EJECTOR ON AFTER(mm)

5.5 TOLERANCE SETTING

5.5.1 Select the ‘‘TOLERANCE’’ button given at lower bottom side of the screen.

5.5.2 Select the CAM 1 from the window and following option will be displayed as

-Width limit

-Height limit

-Small object

-Mask upper limit

-Mask lower limit

-Color

5.5.3 Tolerance can set by increasing or decreasing the values of parameters then press ‘‘CLOSE’’

Select the ‘‘CAM 2’’ for tolerance limit and following option will be displayed on screen as following.

-PRESENT

-PARTICLE(small object)

5.5.4 Tolerance setting can be done by in creasing or decreasing the two parameters with the help of slider given and then press ‘‘CLOSE’’.

5.6 PROCEDURE FOR CHALLENGE TEST

5.6.1 Pass the good carton with spoon and leaflet under the camera and it must not be rejected by the ejector.

5.6.2 Now remove the spoon from carton and pass from under the camera that carton must be rejected by the ejector and fall into the rejection box.

5.6.3 Remove the leaflet from carton and pass under the camera that carton must be rejected by the ejector and fall into the rejection box.

5.6.4 Now remove the both spoon and leaflet from the carton and pass under the camera that carton must be rejected by the ejector and fall into rejection box.

5.6.5 Record the challenge test observation in the Annexure I.
