1.0 OBJECTIVE:
1.1 To lay down a procedure for Cleaning and Operation of High-Pressure Jet Cleaner.
2.0 SCOPE:
2.1 This procedure is applicable to Cleaning and Operation of High Pressure Jet Cleaner.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1 Technical Associate: for Execution
3.2 Officer/ Executive Production: for verification and implementation of SOP
3.3 Head Production: Ensure compliance of the SOP.

5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 Cleaning
5.1.1 Check the status “TO BE CLEANED” on equipment with details.
5.1.2 Switch off the electric supply and disconnect the plug of high pressure jet cleaner.
5.1.3 Transfer the high pressure jet cleaner to the wash area.
5.1.4 Close the outlet valve of high pressure jet cleaner.
5.1.5 Recirculate with approx. 50 liters purified water.
5.1.6 Completely drain the purified water from tank and line of high pressure jet cleaner from outlet valve.
5.1.7 Wipe the outer surface, platform of high pressure jet cleaner with wet cleaned lint free cloth followed by dry cleaned lint free cloth.
5.1.8 Put “CLEANED” status on the equipment as per reference SOP.
5.1.9 Record the details of machine cleaning in equipment usage log sheet as per reference SOP.
5.2 Machine Set up and Operation:
5.2.1 Ensure that high pressure jet cleaner is cleaned
5.2.2 Connect outlet valve of high pressure jet cleaner to un cleaned vessel through flexible pipe or outlet valve has already connected.
5.2.3 Close the drain and recirculation valve of high pressure jet cleaner.
5.2.4 Take approx. 100 liters. or required purified water in high pressure jet cleaner.
5.2.5 Adjust the pressure 2 kg / cm² of high pressure jet cleaner through knob.
5.2.6 Set the time if required by pressing at a time the SET POINT key and increasing/decreasing (↓ /↑) key.
5.2.7 Start the water pump of high pressure jet cleaner for cleaning.
5.2.8 On completion of the process, switch OFF the high pressure jet cleaner.
5.2.9 After completion of batch Affix the’ TO BE CLEANED’ label.
5.2.10 Enter operation details in Equipment Usages Log Sheet as per reference SOP.
INSTRUCTION:
After use of high pressure jet cleaner, pipe should be cleaned and dry and check the integrity of pipe before and after use.
5.3 PROCEDURE FOR APF WATER SYSTEMS (100 Litres):
5.3.1 Cleaning
5.3.2 Frequency for cleaning: Clean the high pressure jet cleaner once at end of the day or whenever required.
5.3.3 Check the status “TO BE CLEANED” on equipment with details.
5.3.4 Switch off the electric supply and disconnect the plug of high pressure jet cleaner.
5.3.5 Completely drain the purified water from tank and line of high pressure jet cleaner through outlet valve.
5.3.6 Clean the inner surface of the tank of high pressure jet cleaner with the help of sprinkler with purified water.
5.3.7 Wipe the outer surface, pipe, spray gun and platform of tank of high pressure jet Cleaner with cleaned wet lint free cloth followed by dry lint free cloth.
5.3.8 Clean the electric cable with cleaned dry lint free cloth.
5.3.9 Put “CLEANED” status on the equipment as per reference SOP.
5.3.10 Record the details of machine cleaning in equipment usage log sheet as per reference SOP.
