lay down the procedure of Potassium
iodide solution for Laboratory use.

This
shall be applicable to the Quality Control Laboratory.

5.0 MATERIAL AND
EQUIPMENT:
5.1
Glassware (one 1000.0ml
beaker, one stirrer, one pipette).
5.2
Magnetic stirrer.
5.3
166.0g of
potassium iodide.
5.4
Purified water
q.s.
6.0 PROCEDURE:
6.1
Accurately weigh 166.0g
of potassium iodide, by using weighing balance.
6.2
Take a beaker of 1000.0ml.
6.3
Add 166.0g of
potassium iodide in it.
6.4
Add sufficient
quantity of purified water, by using magnetic stirrer.
6.5
And make up the final volume up to 1000.0ml with purified
water.
