lay down the procedure of Hydrochloric
acid, Dilute for Laboratory use.

shall be applicable to the Quality Control Laboratory.

5.0 MATERIAL AND
EQUIPMENT:
5.1
Glassware (one 1000.0ml
beaker, one stirrer, one pipette).
5.2
Analytical
weighing balance.
5.3
20.0g of
hydrochloric acid R.
5.4
Purified water q.s.
6.0 PROCEDURE:
6.1
Weigh 20.0g of
hydrochloric acid R by using analytical weighing balance.
6.2
Take a beaker of 100.0ml.
6.3
Add 20.0g of
hydrochloric acid R.
6.4
Add sufficient quantity of purified
water.
6.5
Mix it by using magnetic stirrer.
6.6
And make up the
final volume up to 100.0ml with purified water R.
