lay down the procedure of Hydrochloric
acid, Dilute R2 for Laboratory use.

shall be applicable to the Quality Control Laboratory.

5.0 MATERIAL AND
EQUIPMENT:
5.1
Glassware (one 1000.0ml
beaker, one stirrer, one pipette).
5.2
Analytical
weighing balance.
5.3
30.0ml of 1M
hydrochloric acid.
5.4
Purified water q.s.
6.0 PROCEDURE:
6.1
Take a beaker of
1000.0ml.
6.2
Add 30.0ml of 1M
hydrochloric acid by using pipette.
6.3
Add sufficient quantity of purified
water.
6.4
Mix it by using magnetic stirrer.
6.5
And make up the
final volume up to 1000.0ml with purified water R.
6.6
Adjust to pH
1.6±0.1.
