chloride solution 0.02M for Laboratory use.

5.0 MATERIAL AND
EQUIPMENT:
5.1
Glassware (1000.0ml
beaker, 1spatula, 1 stirrer).
5.2
Analytical
weighing balance.
5.3
Magnetic stirrer.
5.4
pH meter.
5.5
2.94g of Calcium chloride.
5.6
Purified water
(q.s).
6.0 PROCEDURE:
6.1
Firstly weigh 2.94g
of Calcium chloride by
using analytical weighing balance according to SOP.
6.2
Take a beaker of
1000.0ml. Add 900.0ml of purified water in it.
6.3
Add 2.94g of Calcium chloride in it and dissolve.
6.4
Dissolve it completely
by using magnetic stirrer.
6.5
Adjust pH to 6.0
to 6.2 by checking with the help of pH meter.
6.6
And finally dilute
it to 1000.0ml with purified water.
