Title:Standard operating procedure of Ammonium chloride solution preparation for laboratory use.



1.0  OBJECTIVE:
To lay down the procedure of Ammonium chloride solution for Laboratory use.
2.0  SCOPE:
This shall be applicable to the Quality Control Laboratory.
3.0  RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1  Q.C Analyst.
4.0  ACCOUNTABILITY:
4.1  Manager-Quality Control.
4.2  Head of the Q.C Department.
5.0  MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT:
5.1  Glassware (one 1000.0ml beaker, one stirrer).
5.2  Analytical weighing balance.
5.3  Magnetic stirrer.
5.4  107g of Ammonium chloride.
5.5  Purified water (q.s).
6.0  PROCEDURE:
6.1  Take a beaker of 1000.0ml.
6.2  Weigh 107.0g of ammonium chloride, operate analytical weighing balance according to SOP.
6.3  Dilute 107.0g of ammonium chloride in sufficient water.
6.4  And mix it by magnetic stirrer.
6.5  And make up the final volume up to 1000.0ml with water.
